I finally got a shot of lightning!! Living in Utah doesn't provide me with many lightning and thunder storms, however, this past week we had TWO back to back storms and boy were they amazing. I was blown away by the sheer awesomeness of lightning all around me all night long. What an amazing experience! Wedding Flowers

A few weeks back I attended a wedding reception. It was pretty dark and quite difficult to take sharp, properly exposed images without a flash and a tripod. While hand holding the camera I was able to get this shot of the flowers on top of the wedding cake. I think that the imperfections make it perfect. More wedding and reception photos coming soon.

About a month ago I purchased some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figurines. Within the lot I found this one! I took alot of pictures that day but I like this one by far. Only one problem.... I don't know his name.

The calm after the snow storm.

Throughout the day the snow continued to fall. As night approached the snow had stopped and I saw a tree behind my kitchen window before heading to bed. As I laid there I could not sleep because I knew I needed to go out and capture the beautiful snow cover scene. So at 12:00am in my robe, shoes, and jacket I went out with my tripod and began to play.
I am glad I did. This one is a keeper!

A few weeks ago Beth, Joel and I went to the Aquarium in Salt Lake City. It wasn't the best aquarium but I was pretty interested in the Jellyfish. They fascinate me.
