Missionary Monday!

I have decided that every Monday I am going to do my best to post a picture of my mission on my photos section of  my blog.

For those of you who do not know, I served an LDS mission on the Islands of Guam, Saipan, and Majuro in the Marshall Islands.  That experience has taught me many valuable things and I am truly grateful that I was allowed to be have the experience.

Oh and if you don’t know already, I enjoy taking pictures! There is a section at the top of my site called photos. This section I post some of my favorite pictures!

Side note** No missionary pictures were taken with a digital camera. All missionary pictures will have been taken with either a reusable 35mm film camera or Kodak disposable cameras.

Please feel free to comment. Commenting not only gives the appearance that I am somewhat popular, but it also allows my to feel warm and fuzzy inside!

So welcome to Missionary Monday! A new picture is ready for viewing!

Marshall Island Memories

Many people have asked me to tell them about my mission. What was it like there? How were the people? Did they have running water? and many many more. Well one day I was looking to record some friends playing rockband and found I had no blank tapes left. All of them were used to take footage of my mission experiences. At this moment I hit play on the recorder and found a clip that reminded me of my last weeks on the beautiful Island. So I decided to not only make back up copies of my tapes but to also share some of my favorite experiences with everyone. I will scatter these as time goes on but I will create a category for my mission stuff so if you miss some you can go and visit the videos when you have time.

This video was taken right after a giant rain storm over shadowed the little island. My companion and I were passing through the old schoolyard and came across a bunch of kids showing of some skills. It was fun! So enjoy!
